Playing
For the first time this week, I noticed Brady "playing" with other children. Of course he has been with other children at playdates and in the nursery, but he was actually playing with other children this week. The first time I noticed it was when my friend's five year old was playing chase with Brady. He was laughing and looking back to make sure she was still chasing him. He did the same thing today when I took him to the library for story and music time. Several children were in the back of the library running around. Brady starting running and looking to make sure a little boy was chasing him. When the other little boy stopped, Brady turned around and started chasing after the little boy. He is getting too big!!!

New Toys
Jeremy stopped by on the way home yesterday and bought Brady 2 new outside toys- a turtle shaped sandbox and a tee-ball set!! It was hilarious watching Brady as Jeremy unloaded the toys. He started flapping his hands, giggling, and clapping. He now has other things to do when we go outside than just chase the dog around and play in water bowl.

Random pictures
Here are a few random pictures from over the past few weeks. He now likes to play peek-a-boo while walking around. YIKES! He and Jeremy got to meet Jimmy Houston, a professional fisherman. The way he likes to sit in the boat and hold fishing poles, I think he might be a professional angler too. The last picture is Brady reading (or eating) the newspaper. He is getting too big. Jeremy and I laugh at him all of the time.
MOLARS!!!!!!
Brady is getting his first molar!!! That makes tooth number 10! It broke the skin sometime over the weekend. Maybe that explains why he didn't nap on Sunday! He also chipped a tooth sometime last week. He is so active (and clumsy) there is no telling how he did it.
Beach Trip
We went to Orange Beach a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time. The weather was great- not too hot, not too cold. Brady enjoyed playing in the sand and chasing the birds. He actually slept okay and even took a 2 and a half hour nap one day. Anyone who knows Brady very well, knows that is an accomplishment! If playing in the sand works that well, I need a truckload delivered here!!!!
